H I S T O R Y

Bill Anderson started Anderson and Webb Trucking Company (now known as ATW) in 1973. The company was strong and growing. In 1986, after having over 120 tractors, he sold the business. He was placed under a 3 year "no-compete" clause which expired in late 1989.

In January 1990, W.L.A, Inc. began operations offering 48 state transportation with the main freight line being California and other west coast states. We currently operate clean, modern equipment. We use team drivers which are DOT approved, drug screened, and alcohol tested. The majority of our teams consist of husbands and wives.

W.L.A., Inc. built a new terminal and office complex in October of 1990 and have been operating from this location since that time. We have a full service four bay garage where we maintain all equipment. In 1992, we added a warehouse for storage as well as an additional "clean-up" bay for our drivers use.

In 1993, the company was pleased to provide Qualcomm satellite tracking devices to our fleet. This has been beneficial to our drivers as well as our customers. We have immediate access to our drivers and equipment at all times.

In November of 1995, a new Dispatch office was completed. This facility includes a Safety office and a Drivers Lounge with a driver training center for new hires and safety meetings for employees. A new "clean-up" bay was added at this time and the existing bay was converted into a trailer maintenance bay.

W.L.A., Inc. enjoys a Christian atmosphere. W.L.A., Inc. is a strong customer oriented company with over 20 years of truck load experience. We take pride in our employees and equipment. We provide the best transportation service available. These are the reasons our company has prospered.
